Questions from referring teams
Who can you take referrals for?
Young people aged 16 to 18 placed by a local authority in England, including care leavers and young people at risk of homelessness. Parent and child provision is in development and not yet open to referrals.
What is semi-independent supported accommodation?
Accommodation where a young person has their own room and staff support on site, but is not looked after in the way they would be in a children’s home. The focus is on preparing for independent living.
Do you accept emergency and out of hours placements?
Yes, including short notice and spot purchase placements, subject to capacity. Call phone number for an urgent enquiry.
Which areas do you cover?
We work with local authorities across England. Contact us for current availability in your area.
What is your regulatory status?
Wording to be confirmed before launch. This answer and the footer status block are the only two places it appears on the site.
How is a young person’s support planned and reviewed?
Every young person has a keyworker and a support plan covering budgeting, cooking, health, education and employment. Progress is recorded and reviewed with the placing authority on agreed dates.
